Raising Up Leaders.

Preserving History.

Equipping the Church.

Three-Fold Mission

Named for the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8, Bakos Project has a three-pronged mission. First, we mentor the next generation of Christian LGBTQ leaders. Second, we preserve the history of Christian sexual and gender miniorities. Third, we equip pastors and Christian leaders striving to create fully LGBTQ affirming spaces.

Bakos Historical Archive

Preserving history is a crucial task of the Church. Tradition matters. We are cultivating a historical archive of Christian sexual and gender minorities who have gone before us, as well as those who are making history today.
