Our Vision
To increase the number of Christian sexual and gender minorities who use their God-given gifts for building-up the Body of Christ and advancing the common good.
Our Two-Fold Mission
Named for the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8, Bakos Project has a two-fold mission. First, we mentor the next generation of LGBTQ Christians to nurture them in Christlike leadership. Second, we preserve the history of Christian sexual and gender minorities, whose lives bear witness to what God is doing in the Church and our world.

Are you Christian, LGBTQ, and in your 20s or 30s? Every year we mentor a select cohort of Bakos Fellows. If you love Jesus and have leadership abilities, apply to join our unique community of Christlike leaders!

Preserving history is a crucial task of the Church. Tradition matters. We are cultivating a historical archive of Christian sexual and gender minorities who have gone before us, as well as those who are making history today.
Bakos is the name Ethiopian Christians gave to the Ethiopian eunuch, a sexual minority whose story is recounted in Scripture.
