We are glad you want to become a Bakos Fellow! We love mentoring LGBTQ Christians who desire to follow Christ and use their spiritual gifts to serve others. Our hope is to come alongside you to nurture your faith and strengthen your existing leadership abilities.
Consider applying for the next cohort (10-12 people between the ages 22 and 39). Applications for our next cohort open from June 1st – Aug 15, 2025. The cohort runs from January – October 2026. Alumni retreats follow annually.
An in-person weekend retreat will take place in February or March 2026 (date selected based on participant availability; lodging and food covered for the retreat). Applicants will also participate in monthly Zoom calls (2nd Monday each month) through the duration of the program.
Before you apply, make sure you have thoroughly reviewed this website for an understanding of what the Bakos Project is all about, including applicant criteria.
